Tipjoy sounds like a good idea. So, when you tip you will receive a feedback right away? That's good thing because you know the your feedback get there. And so couple of things you point out will be addressed right then.
-
Contributor: Pregnancy Miracle Thoughts

Hi! I'm cofounder of Tipjoy.

Thanks for the nice words.

The granularity of ownership is certainly an issue. We use the whole url for a unique identifier of content, so even if someone owns blogspot.com, myblog.blogspot.com can be claimed by me.

But the tools to credit the authors on group blogs are definitely needed. This will come with more advanced plugins to the blogging platforms.

Also, if you don't include a URL, but do include a target Tipjoy user to tip, the "url" is just their email address. That's an easy way to make a tipjoy button to get tips without actually owning the URL.

If you have any other ideas or thoughts, do let me know. Or just blog about em!
