N95 GPS; Using it; Twitter; Flickr; Google Earth/Maps

So I love my N95 simply as a successor to my N80. However the GPS has to be one of the killer features of this phone. While I would love to the GPS available in PyS60 I don’t think it’s going to happen. However it seems it is available via Java and C++.

Being as it’s so very Web 2.0 there is already a GPS enabled Twitter client called Twibble written in Java. I love this idea, as much as I hate the idea of having Twitter on my phone.

The is also now a way to live geotag photos straight into Flickr from your N95. This is pure genius. This is one of the main reasons why I declared last year I would have an N95. This is literally the best thing since bread became sliced. I am very excited.

Finally Nokia’s research labs have a GPS tracker program which integrates with Google Earth/Maps called “Sports Tracker”. Another great idea. Track a route and save it into KML to look at later. This would go nicely with something like Run London Route Finder. I’m tempted to mash Sports Tracker up with Yahoo! Maps for something like that.
