I still cannot make it work with my Mac 10.5.1 - how did you define workspace and account on your mobile? (i want to access my mobile from my computer).
What do you type in when Mac asks about user and password?

If you use cmd+k in find and enter smb://ip.of.phone.here/shareName

In my case this looked like smb://192.168.1.46/Disk_E

You can find the IP your phone got assigned by the network in the connection settings in SymSMB on the phone.

Me again.
Sorry, I tried to correct my 1st post but it seems impossible to enter backslashes or edgy brackets here.

How Do you access the phone from the Mac?
Finder? Terminal? Somemething else?
The RC1 seems no better than 1.10 to me in this respect.

+++ 2nd version of 1st comment +++

Hi!

Did You get it working with a Mac?
I'm fiddling around with the self-signed RC1 of SymSMB 2.0.
I can access files on my Mac from the phone but not vice versa.
I use Mac OS X 10.4.9, Windows Sharing enabled, Firewall (ipfw) off.
Access from a Win2kSP4 machine in the same network works (Login as another user with backslash

Hi Gerhard,

I had some weird trouble with my Mac using version 1. If you get RC1 signed (see my post on sign SIS applications with a developer certificate) that should work like a dream. They've really polished the rough edges off the betas and now I don't have any problems.
