		<description>People who &quot;argue that the world has enough opportunities to allow any man to better themselves and improve his circumstance if he wishes to&quot; are perhaps a little ignorant but fortunate people. They&#039;ve lived in an environment with resources that allows them to do so. We all know that that&#039;s not the case. If it were so, then we wouldn&#039;t have charities and support groups. 

These kind of ideas are getting more prevalent as more and more people get more affluent. 

As to people not putting in enough effort, that seems a little insulting to me...

You&#039;re absolutely right though, Tom. Read new stuff, be open-minded. But I&#039;d go one better. If anyone is really interested in anything, get out there and talk to the people involved. That way you can make up your own mind.</description>
