All American Eating; Chinese New Year; Flickr 333; Burning Man says ‘No’

So we grabbed some food at a local dinner, which was very hearty (veggie for me) burgers and fries. It was pretty darn tasty. Then headed over to the Flickr 3rd Birthday bash. On the way we saw the parts of the final Parade marking Chinese New Year here in San Francisco.

That was pretty fun, I saw a bunch of lovely people I know, including a long chat with Tantek about Microformats and the Semantic Web. I have to say he is as smart as ever and really explained a couple of things I am going to think about pretty hard. I’m well up for Get Semantic but I think I need to re-evaluate some of my ideas.

Finally, even though I hadn’t slept for over 24 hours, we headed over to some club for an after party, that we were sharing with the Burning Man mob. The club bouncer at the door decided to card me but I had left my passport in the hotel. I just called it a night got a ride back with Amanda and Brad to get some sleep. I’m kinda surprised I didn’t think anyone would card me again. Maybe the hockey shirt and beard make me look like someone younger trying to look older.
